2024 Membership Fees
Full Membership £40
Full members of The Society must be a Minimum of 18 years of age.
Associate Membership £5
1. Must be Minimum of 18 years of age
2. Must be associated with and nominated by a full member.
3. Associate Members shall not enjoy the privileges of Full Membership
4. Associate Members may take part in society activities.
5. Associate Members may attend a meeting but are not be entitled to vote
6. Associate Members may not operate their own models at the club site.
7. Associate Members are not eligible for election as an Officer
Junior Membership £20
1. Any person between the ages of 14 years and 18 years of age may become a Junior Member.
2. Junior Membership shall cease on the 31st of December of the year in which the age of 18 years is attained.

About Us
We have around 100 members with interests in all types of model engineering. Our society was formed in 1935 and caters for all aspects of the hobby and is affiliated to the Northern Association of Model Engineers. We have a clubhouse, ground level railway tracks and a roadway for traction engines located at Waltham Windmill in the village of Waltham, 4 miles from the centre of Grimsby. Meetings take place at 7.30pm on the third Tuesday evening of each month throughout the year in our clubhouse, Hartley Lodge, at the Waltham Windmill site. We usually operate rides for the public on Sundays between the beginning of April and the end of September weather permitting.
