The railway operates a variety of trains including both steam and electric locos to give rides to the public on Sundays from 12 noon until 4 pm between the beginning of April and the end of September. In addition we also open on Wednesdays during the School holidays.

We also run on Bank Holiday Mondays - Easter, May Day, Late Spring and August plus Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

 Public running is always subject to weather conditions and the availability of volunteer members.

​

We also operate rides for the public during Waltham Windmill Preservation Society events, such as car boot sales, family fun days, fireworks night etc.
