Next Public Train Rides
Dear members, visitors and followers...
This post is to advise you of the Club's response to the latest advice regarding the Covid-19 virus.
We have taken the decision to delay the start of our 2020 running season until later in the year. The society will not be offering rides to members of the public until further notice.
But please be assured the situation will be kept under continual review and you will be advised of any changes.
Any questions please get in touch.
Best wishes to everyone, and Thank you for your continued support at this difficult time.
We have around 100 members with interests in all types of model engineering. Our society was formed in 1935 and caters for all aspects of the hobby and is affiliated to the Northern Association of Model Engineers. We have a clubhouse, ground level railway tracks and a roadway for traction engines located at Waltham Windmill in the village of Waltham, 4 miles from the centre of Grimsby. Meetings take place at 7.30pm on the third Tuesday evening of each month throughout the year in our clubhouse, Hartley Lodge, at the Waltham Windmill site. We usually operate rides for the public on Sundays between the beginning of April and the end of October weather permitting.
